FarmVille Hawaii: Blue whales, coconuts and water farming.

With Hawaii (March 2012), Zynga introduced a new currency in the game: coconuts. Most Hawaiian items require coconuts to purchase. Coconuts can be obtained from harvesting crops, animals and trees.

Trees that produce coconuts (March 09, 2012)
The referred website lists many trees at 500 coconuts / tree / harvest.
In May 2012, these trees harvested for only 425 coconuts (+ 150 FV-coins) / tree / harvest.
The trees not listed in this table give much lower yields and are not nearly as useful for coconut production. 

The easiest way to get going quickly (and cheaply) with this is by getting the new trees and seedlings off the feeds.

	The Rainbow Gum Tree (1150) is the best coconut AND money tree in the game to date. (July 2012) It is no longer available in the market in May 2012. It is a level 1 tree that sold for FV-cash only, so no coin purchase and as seedling it produces a Jaca tree. As a result there are very few around.
	There are quite a few trees that harvest for 425 coconuts. I prefer to use the Choco Macadamia tree, because of the obvious color difference of the ready tree.
	The trees produce coconuts even if they are not planted in Hawaii.

Animals that produce coconuts (March 09, 2012)

The blue whale is the biggest revenue producer in the game! (5000 coins + 4250 coconuts / harvest)
It purchases for 500,000 coconuts, so no cash needs to be used.
If they are kept in an aquarium or swimming pond, blue whales can be harvested daily.

A swimming pond with 60 blue whales produces 100 times more coins and 30 times more coconuts than an orchard full of Choco Macadamia trees ...
