This is what you need for 4 servings:
- 1 lb. radishes
- 1 medium onion

1 serrano pepper
or hot pepper powder - 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups whole milk (or skim and 2 tbsp. butter)
- olive oil
- 4 tbsp. flour
- S&wP
- Optional: heavy cream

Fresh radishes can be extremely hot. Sadly enough, boiling pretty much destroys that typical sharpness and makes them rather bland, a lesser turnip imitation. The pepper should help with that. :-) If you like turnip soup, you will probably like this one too.
