Radek Rejšek was born in July 1959.
He studied composition and playing trumpet at the Prague Conservatoire and
then composition at the Janáèek's Acadamy of Musical Arts in Brno. Since
1988, Radek has worked as the recording supervisor and musical editor in
Czech Radio in Prague where he has completed projects on Czech Historical
Organs and Bells of Bohemia and Moravia. In 1997 he became Vice-President of
the Czech Society for Electr-accoustical and Experimental Music. Radek
currently teaches musical theory (harmony, contrapunct, forms) at the Prague
Conservatoire and since 1990 he has held the position of Carillonneur and
Organist of the Loreto's Church in Prague. Radek is also a member of the
Committee for Restoring Bells at the Czech Ministry of Culture.
