(b Felsztyn, ?1480-90; d after 1543). Polish composer and theorist. A student at Kraków University (1507-9), he was appointed priest at Felsztyn c 1528. Three four-part Latin motets by him have survived; they are among the earliest examples of Polish four-voice music and are based on Gregorian melodies.
